We watched the DVD of Bethany's Children's Musical Hotel Bethlehem tonight. The guy who made the DVD was so disappointed with how it came out. Evidently, the kids who had speaking parts had their mic's on all the time, even when they weren't on stage, and you could hear them talking, whispering, laughing behind stage. Paul and I both thought it just added to the uniqueness of a kids' musical (although it was a little annoying). I'm sure the director will make sure next time that the kids backstage have their mic's turned off! It's a good thing that you couldn't hear them during the actual performance.

OH NO !!!!!!! You have to be kidding. Isn't it the job of the sound tech to make sure the microphones are off after each one speaks???? That is such a shame because everyone sounded so good. All the speaking parts were so clear as well as all the words in the songs. WHAT A SHAME !!!

Yes, unfortunately it was audible watching this second Sunday service live on the Internet. I do agree that it definitely adds to the characteristics of a "Children's"
musical.

Maybe if the children in the play get to view it all together during an upcoming rehearsal, they could prepare for the next one.

It was still an awesome presentation!
